Who are we?

The Helping Children & Families Association (HCFA) is an Armidale charity established in 2005 to continue the work previously undertaken by the Armidale Network of the Hope for the Children Foundation.

HCFA's mission is to connect families of young children with our community.  We recognise that any family with a child under six deserves support, and our  "Loving Care" volunteer home visiting program allows families to receive the support once provided to all families by the " village":  extended family and neighbours.

We also continually review what families in Armidale need.  We published the inaugural Armidale Families Guide, a 24-page booklet full of resources and ideas for local families, in 2014.  A second edition of the Armidale families guide is now available.
